Before the fine print

When you share your name, phone number, or email with us, you're trusting us with something personal. We don't take that lightly. We use your information to teach you French and to stay in touch about your learning. That's it. We don't sell it, share it unnecessarily, or use it to send you things you didn't ask for. Promis. Promise.

What we collect

We only collect information that serves a real purpose for your learning.

Name

To address you properly and to maintain your course records.

Phone / WhatsApp

To confirm bookings, send class reminders, and stay in touch about your progress. This is our primary channel.

For payment receipts, course confirmations, and occasional updates relevant to your learning.

Course & level info

Your current level, target exam, and progress notes — so Goldy can teach you effectively.

Payment info

Processed entirely by Razorpay. We never see or store your card details. We only receive confirmation that payment was made.

How we use it

Your information is used to:

✦ Respond to your questions and messages
✦ Send you information about your own courses — not generic marketing
✦ Improve how we teach, based on how students learn

What we never do

✕ Share your data with third parties for marketing purposes
✕ Send unsolicited promotional messages
✕ Store your payment card details — Razorpay handles all of that
✕ Use your information for any purpose beyond running your courses

Third parties we work with

We use a small number of trusted services to run the school:

Razorpay

Payment processing. Your payment data is governed by Razorpay's privacy policy. We never receive or store card details.

Our primary communication channel with students. Messages are subject to WhatsApp's own privacy terms.

Fidus FLO

Our internal CRM and marketing system, operated by Fidus Synergies LLP — the same company that runs The French Skool. Your data does not leave the Fidus ecosystem.

Google Meet / Zoom

Video platform used for online classes. Sessions are not recorded without your explicit consent.

Your rights

You have the right to know what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it. C'est votre droit — it's your right. Email us at classe@thefrenchskool.com and we'll respond within 72 hours.

If you want to stop receiving WhatsApp messages from us, simply reply "STOP" and we'll remove you immediately. No questions, no friction.

Cookies & Analytics

This website may use basic analytics (such as Google Analytics) to understand how visitors find and use our site — page views, session duration, traffic sources. We use this to make the website better, not to profile individuals. No personal information is attached to this data.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy in a meaningful way, we'll let our active students know via WhatsApp before the changes take effect. The "last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent version.
