Getting Started
What is the free demo class?
The demo is a full, real teaching session with Goldy — not a sales call. You'll get an assessment of your current level, experience her teaching style directly, and leave with a clear understanding of where you need to go and how long it will take. No commitment required to attend.
How do I know which level is right for me?
You don't have to figure that out yourself. Book a free demo class and Goldy will assess your level in the first session. She'll tell you honestly where you are and what your realistic timeline looks like for your target exam.
Do I need any materials before starting?
No. All course materials are provided. You need a stable internet connection, a computer or tablet, and a willingness to practise between classes.
Courses & Exams
Which exams do you prepare students for?
TEF Canada (for PR and Citizenship), DELF (A1 through B2), and DALF (C1 and C2). TEF Canada is our most common — the majority of students are preparing for Canadian immigration pathways.
What is TEF Canada and why does it matter?
TEF Canada is the Test d'Évaluation de Français, the most widely accepted French language test for Canadian Permanent Residency and Citizenship applications. It tests reading, listening, speaking, and writing. Your score determines your points in the Express Entry system. A higher score means a better chance of being selected. Goldy specialises in maximising your TEF score for immigration purposes specifically.
How long does it take to go from beginner to TEF-ready?
It depends entirely on your starting point and how much you practise between sessions. A complete beginner realistically needs 12–18 months to reach TEF-ready B2. Someone starting at B1 can be exam-ready in 3–5 months. Goldy will give you a realistic timeline after your first session.
Do you teach in person or online?
All classes are online, via video. This means you can study from anywhere in India or internationally. Classes are scheduled around your timezone.
Can I study for DELF and TEF Canada at the same time?
Yes. At the B2 level, DELF B2 and TEF Canada preparation overlap significantly. Goldy designs the curriculum to serve both where possible.
Scheduling & Pricing
How flexible are the class timings?
Very. Goldy teaches students across multiple timezones. You discuss available slots after booking and agree on a schedule that works for you. Rescheduling is handled on a case-by-case basis with reasonable notice.
How many classes per week?
Typically 2–3 sessions per week for best progress. One session per week is possible but slower. We’ll recommend a frequency based on your timeline and target exam date.
What does it cost?
Course pricing depends on level, duration, and frequency. It's discussed transparently after your free demo class once Goldy knows your specific needs and timeline. There are no hidden fees.
Is there a refund policy?
Yes. Please see our Refund Policy for full details.
For Teachers
I’m a French teacher. Can I teach with you?
Yes — this is something we’re actively expanding. We’re looking for DELF/DALF certified or near-native French teachers who want to build a teaching practice without the marketing overhead. Revenue share model, online only, serious students. Read the full details here →
What qualifications do teaching partners need?
DELF, DALF, FLE, or equivalent certification is preferred. Near-native fluency with demonstrated results is also considered. Experience teaching TEF Canada preparation is a strong plus. See the teacher page for full details.
